Kousalya Krishnamurthy
Krishnamurthy (Rajendra Prasad), a farmer. His daughter Kousalya Krishnamurthy (Aishwarya Rajesh) is highly fascinated to cricket. On her childhood, she saw her father cry when India crashes defeat in the 2007 Cricket World Cup. So, she make up her mind to play cricket for India and win the match. In her school, everyone appreciate her talent of off-spin technique getting wickets. In her village, everyone humiliates her family for playing cricket with boys. But, her father support her in all the times. At her first attempt, she get rejected, but she didn't give up her mind. Finally, she worked hard and got selected in the women's national cricket team. She moved to National Cricket Academy Bangalore, where she humiliated by team mates and others due to internal politics. Nelson Dilipkumar (Sivakarthikeyan), an ex-Indian cricketer comes as a new coach, encouraged her and brought her talent up. Meanwhile, her house is announced auction, Krishnamurthy faces a tough time with agriculture, and unable to repay the debt of bank. The rest of the story is about how she succeed in her career and make her father happy.?
