Indra
Shankar Narayana(Chiranjeevi ) is a taxi driver in Varanasi. He lives for his nephew Nandhini(Lahari). Meanwhile, Nandhini friend Pallavi Reddy(Sonali Bendre) falls in love with Shankar and comes to his home with some play. Pallavi's father Chenna Kesava Reddy(Prakash Raj) is the governor of Uttar Pradesh finds his daughter staying with a taxi driver and his family. He take force along with him to attack, but after seeing him he identifies him as Shankar Narayana and folds his hands and greets him. The story backdrops to opens in a village in Andhra Pradesh showing the rivalry between two families. Indrasena Reddy(Chiranjeevi) is a leader of the village who cares for the people. But his rivals try to take revenge on them. To Construct a dam for village welfare, he gives all his property and also agrees to marriage with their sister. The rest of the story is about why he changed his name and living away from village? What happened to his village and family.?
