Venkat (Prabhas) meets Shailaja (Trisha) in a train journey who talks with rain. He fell in love with her in the first sight. Bhadranna (Gopichand), a ruthless landlord also seen her at the same time and want to marry her. He sent his men to trap her father Cola Ranga Rao(Prakash Raj). They lend him some money. Meanwhile, Venkat searching for Shailaja everywhere. On a rainy day he meet her and propose his love. She say that, if it is true love, rain will make them meet again. Eventually they meet in a rainy day and were in deep love. One producer approach Ranga Rao and ask to make his daughter as heroin in his film. Thinking of getting more money, he blackmails her and make her agree. Venkat give warning to director and takes Shailaja. Ranga Rao want to separate them and make up a drama. Shailaja believes her father and questions Venkat. With broken heart, Venkat leaves city. Meanwhile, Venkat's uncle was in trouble and needed money for operation. Ranga Rao comes searching Venkat offer money to save his daughter from Bhadranna. The rest of the story is about how he save Shailaja? Will they become one?
